| Help CLIC Sargent help Ted and other children |
 For more than a year, UK Parents Lounge (formerly Parents Lounge) has supported CLIC Sargent - the charity that helps children with cancer and their families. We have raised funds and supported the charity's aims. Now, CLIC Sargent is giving something back, by supporting Ted Drummond.Ted was born to Sarah Drummond, one of the admin team on UKPL's forum. We followed the pregnancy and the birth and have followed Ted's progress. In March 2008, Ted was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. As you can see from the photo of him at Great Ormond Street, he is a smiley little lad who doesn't let leukaemia stop him being a happy baby. CLIC Sargent is a charity that helps at times like this, to provide care, advice and support to Ted's family. Ted's brother and sister are staying with granddad while mum and grandma stay with him for several weeks in hospital as Ted undergoes chemo. We have asked CLIC Sargent to set up a special donations page in Ted's name so that UKPL members can not only make donations to the charity, but they can do so knowing that they are directly helping Ted and his family, and the many other families that CLIC Sargent supports.
