Mum of two Robin Bradley on the work life balance

New research reveals that women in the UK are desperate to find a work/life balance that satisfies both their drive to succeed in the workplace and their desire to nurture their family - searching for the elusive middle ground between power woman and caring mum.

Mother of two Robin Bradley found an alternative to the stresses of the rat race as she set up her own company, Phoenix Trading, 15 years ago. Following the birth of her first child Tom, Robin freelanced for national newspapers but then found work as a distributor for the direct selling arm of Dorling Kindersley Books. This was the inspiration for Phoenix Trading. Robin partnered with two friends and invested an initial sum of £30. The group of investors developed the company and grew their initial investment so there was enough capital to complete an initial print run and 13 pieces of artwork.

In this video she talks about why working from home could be the answer for those mums who want to strike the correct work/life balance.
