Motorway bridges a danger to drivers
A report reveals the dangers of objects thrown from bridges on to motorway traffic. The report surveys police and motorists and tested how windscreens react to being hit by bricks at high speed.
The campaign is trying to ensure local authorities can see a true picture of problem bridges and whether action needs to be taken such as enmeshing/enclosure of CCTV. An increase in education programmes is also being called on to target youngsters in order to show them the consequences of their actions.
