It was going to happen.

I knew I should have moved the pile of wood somewhere else as I put it there.

Right in the middle of the bedroom doorway isnt a good place for a pile of wood.

Shouldnt have stayed in bed quite so long when I needed the toilet.

My kids thought it hillarious watching me pull splinters out of my toe while sitting on the loo.

I hobbled back to the bedroom and cleared up most of the pile of wood.

I opened the window and threw it in the garden.

As soon as I let go I remembered the gazebo.

The kids raced down to check on all the damage I did.

Nearly all the wood went out the window...

Except one piece that I dropped on my other foot.

I am not very good at hobbling with both feet at the same time.

My littlest just offered to make me a sling for both feet.

Its raining.

My biggest left his boat up the wrong way and its full of water.

Its too heavy to turn back with the water in it.

Boats are supposed to keep water out, not keep it in.

Going to have to bail it out and its not even been sailed yet.

My biggest just walked past with a toast sandwich.

I shouldnt have asked what was in it.

Just went all the way to the shop to get some electric.

Just got back with some milk, but no electric.

Just dropped a tin of paint.

How come it takes ages to get the lid off with a screwdriver, but it flies off and throws paint all over you if it manages to run away?

As I have some free time, I decided to paint my gate.

Its really wet, so I was drying it out with my big blowlamp.

I managed to scorch it quite badly.

What paint I got on the gate is now being washed by all the rain.

I wonder if it would dry quicker if I warm it up some more.

I wonder if I can get the paint out of my jeans and trainers if I put them in the washing machine with enough white spirit.....

I supposed if I try it, the machine will catch fire like the gate did.

Not very good with washing machines.

It took my kids 5 mins to reset all the clocks.

I sort of think they are boring as only one person can write on there, whereas hundreds can mutter on a mutter thread, as its open.

Muttering helps you stop bottling all the little gripes that would make you explode when they get too big, and if written right usually end up being funny.

My little one just made a cake and put it in the oven and asked me to take it out in 15 minutes.

I forgot to check the time.

Just discoverd the two boxes of jaffa cakes have gone.

Whats the chances he is cooking jaffa cake cakes?
