My daughter is 8 months old, currently she is on jars, but will only eat the fruit, veg and salad jars or apple and cookie, custard etc. Im wanting to get her onto more solid food, what can i start her on?

She has 2 teeth. I was terrible at getting my son on solids as i was scared to death that he would choke however he was at nursery most days in the week and they weaned her onto real food their, my daughter doesnt go to nursery so i really need to do it myself

I started mine on small bits of banana, I then started to liquidise our main meals or chop things up really small. I found keeping to regular feeding times also helped instead of letting them snack, they will then be more hungry and a lot less fussy.

I gave mine bits of french bread to chew (great when teething), banana bits etc.
