I was thinking of something similar where people could recomend online nappy shops. :D

I will go with :

Babykind.co.uk - Free postage which is a bonus  and fast delivery - huge choice and loads and loads of detail on each nappy they sell.

clwt-twt.co.uk - I am sure everyone know about these but if not go buy some  They are lovely and as soon as the shop opens properly i can see me being very naughty and buying far too many

weenotions.co.uk - If I ever win the lottery i will buy everything on here !! They are not doing custom orders as such but they are great for washable wipes and boosters which are custom made and great value.

Great for arranging to see an advisor. They stock a huge range of different brands as well as their own brand of nappies

I am a Lollipop advisor in Oxfordshire, but can also do telephone and email demos. I have recently set up my own website

I buy my wraps from WAHM Jodie Grubb. These are displayed on http://www.cottonbots.co.uk and there is 15% off all goods except Wam Bamboo/Bambineo which have free postage.

Sure this post will be removed as its always seen as advertising but why should all the big companines get the business.

That's not entirely fair as both Lucy at PurPur and Elaine at Bear Behinds are work at home mums with small businesses.

Having said that, I would have had no problem with you telling us about some more WAHM's if you'd left out the advertising blurb that came after it.

The wraps do look lovery though :-)

Sorry but the whole point of this thread was to let people know where they buy there goods and thats what i have done advised somewhere cheap to buy goods.

The problem i have is nothing I have said is untrue yet my posts always get removed even if it is giving advise as I own my own company yet many other people can come on here and promote companies that they work for.

Sorry just fed up today!!

Hi Fiona

I was a nappy seller for over 10 years and didn't sign up for any forums because I was paranoid about upsetting people. Now that I have hung up my nappy bag and am just a nappy user, I post regularly to lots of forums but I don't necessarily know who is a seller and who isn't, so can't comment on what people get away with or don't.

Personally, I don't see a problem wth advertising your own wesbite or products if it is relevant and to the point, although I am not sure how you judge whether a post is objective or not!

I think all I was trying to say was that if you had been less defensive I would probably have been none the wiser to the fact that you were advertising yourself and probably wouldn't have said anything.

Like I said, I did follow you link and the wraps on your site are lovely :)

freyasmummy I think gets a lot of her nappies second hand from the mums on here that buy on hyena cart. So you just gotta stalk them or try

http://www.diaperswappers.com (American nappy site where you can post a ISO : in search of ) or just stalk their FSOT : for sale or trade section for new and second hand bargains.

I have my heart in my throat posting this link I am very restrained and don't want anyone on here addicted like some of the mums on the diaperswappers forum.

I am an agent for nappy nation and often recommend them along with tots bots and easy peasy especially for newborns and if people want quick drying options. I haven't had anything removed yet and am not sure if people are getting annoyed with me recommending them but I honestly do love em along with tots etc that are my faves. I just honestly give my opinion if asked for advice and I hope that , that comes through rather than people think I am trying to push nappy nation nappies.

I think you have to be careful in which posts you advertise your buss , but this was apt as she asked for links and advice , she basically asked to be spammed.

Edited to say http://www.theclothresource.co.uk has a list of nappy sellers , wahms ( where the cutest stuff is to be found) and manufacturers mostly uk based.

masiemog has a blog where mums have reviewed nappies that they have used. so this may give you an idea of what to look out for.

I buy lots of second hand nappies on http://www.thenappylady.co.uk in her classified section but I know what I am looking for.

Yeah go to hyena cart and diaperswappers and check out what you might want then keep an eye out for them second hand either here or in the US.

I think there is sometimes a problem with getting nappies and slings from the US , customs can nail you , I think nappies are supposed to be customs free but if you get caught you may have to pay a fine.
